Just when I thought it would be a slow week for Georgia football content, Dylan Raiola is now thought to flip to Nebraska. Steve Wiltfong of 24/7 has now crystalballed Raiola going to Lincoln, Nebraska. Nothing from Raiola or his family has confirmed the flip, but Nebraska and Georgia insiders feel the Huskers have a good shot at landing the highly touted QB.

Raiola has been committed to the Dawgs since May and, up to three days ago, was recruiting players to come to Georgia on social media. What has changed? Who knows! Which makes these rumors more confusing. But Wiltfong has been pretty good at predicting these things, so my guess is that Raiola is not coming to Georgia.

Raiola recently transferred to Buford High School this year, and many thought he transferred to Buford from an Arizona high school to be closer to the Georgia football program.

This has made the rumors of Raiola’s decision to flip his commitment a little murky. However, Raiola’s father is a Nebraska legend, and his uncle is an offensive line coach for the Cornhuskers.

Raiola could be moving to Nebraska because Carson Beck will likely return for one more season. Also, if you are worried about Georgia’s QB room, don’t. Georgia will still have Gunner Stocken and 4-star recruit Ryan Puglisi.

Puglisi is out of Avon, Connecticut, and has been committed to the Dawgs for some time. Also, Todd Monken was his lead recruiter and was extremely high on Puglisi when he came and worked out for the Dawgs in 2022.

Nebraska is making a big late push for Raiola, and we will see if he decides to stay with his commitment or flip. Either way, Georgia fans should not worry all that much about it. Georgia still has a firm commitment from Puglisi, Gunner Stocken is still in the QB room, and Caron Beck will stay for another year.

The crazy season for college football has arrived for Georgia. The one thing that Kirby Smart has been elite at since he took over this program is roster management. So, for those worried, I have four words for you: In Kirby, we trust.
