3 bold predictions for Georgia football vs. Georgia Tech
2. Georgia has their third game in a row with zero turnovers
One thing that had been defining Georgia's season were all the turnovers on offense. Beck specifically had his own issues earlier this year as he had two games in a row where he threw three interceptions.
But those turnover issues appear to be a thing of the past as Georgia has now gone two straight games without a turnover. That may not be that impressive against a team like UMass last weekend, but it is very impressive against Tennessee the week before.
On the bright side for Georgia, the Yellow Jackets are not very good at turning teams over this season. So far they have only forced five interceptions and five fumbles for a whopping 10 forced turnovers this season. That is less than one per game.
But even though Georgia Tech isn't good at turning teams over, having zero against any opponent is still tough to do. It is especially difficult when it would be for the third game in a row as well.
But Beck and the offense are past their turnover issues, and they are going to prove that again by not turning the ball over once against the Yellow Jackets.
