Georgia football is ready to play for an SEC Championship as they get set to do battle with the Texas Longhorns for the second time this season. Kirby Smart and Georgia may have won the first meeting between these teams, but that all gets thrown out the window and does not matter anymore.
This game is far more important than the first as a conference title and automatic first round bye in the College Football Playoff is on the line. So this clearly is a game that Georgia needs to win.
But before the game gets here, let's dive into some bold predictions for the Bulldogs as they face the No. 2 team in the country.
1. Carson Beck has zero interceptions
Carson Beck has really turned a corner these last few weeks. Over the last three games, he has thrown for nearly 1,000 yards and 11 touchdowns. But the best stat of all is that Beck hasn't thrown an interception in Georgia's last three games.
That was the one thing that Beck was struggling with the most earlier this season, especially in the first game against Texas where he threw three interceptions. So Texas clearly knows how to force mistakes out of Beck. The Longhorns also have one of the best defenses in the country, and are coming off their game last week against Texas A&M where they didn't allow one point. So this Longhorns' defense is going to be ready to play.
But so is Beck. Who knows if Georgia is going to be able to win this game or not, but Beck will have his fourth game in a row without an interception which should put Georgia in a position to win this game.
