3 bold predictions for Georgia football vs. No. 7 Tennessee
3. Carson Beck throws four touchdowns
All the talk surrounding Carson Beck recently has been surrounding his turnover problems. And while that is a major talking point, one thing that hasn't been talked about enough is how few touchdowns he has thrown for recently.
Beck may have 17 passing touchdowns this season, but in Georgia's last three games he has only thrown for two. This includes zero touchdowns against Texas and Ole Miss.
So something has to change if Georgia is gong to win this game.
One thing that will help Beck throw four touchdowns against Tennessee is the fact that Georgia's running back room has four players listed on the injury report. This includes Georgia's leading rusher Trevor Etienne, who was ruled out earlier this week. So Kirby Smart is going to have to rely heavily on the pass game simply because Georgia doesn't have enough firepower at running back.
Beck has eclipsed this mark once this season when he threw for five touchdowns during their week two win against Tennessee Tech, so he has shown that he is more than capable. But Beck is finally going to have a stellar performance like that again, this time against a very good team.
