2. Quarterback
The importance of adding a quarterback depends on what Gunner Stockton decides to do. If he leaves for the NFL then Georgia will need to add someone who is capable of being a starter next year. However, even if Stockton returns to Georgia for one more season they still need to add at least one QB.
Georgia did get some good quarterback news earlier this week as backup Ryan Puglisi announced that he will be returning next season. He made this decision before Stockton announced his final NFL decision, so he is comfortable coming back and being a backup again if Stockton returns as well.
While it is nice to have Puglisi back next year it will be hard to solely rely on him if Stockton does leave for the NFL. He has never started in his career, so adding a QB to compete with him this offseason for the starting job would be a requirement.
But even if Stockton returns Georgia will still need to add more depth to the position especially since five-star Jared Curtis ditched the program for Vanderbilt.
