The SEC provided Georgia their 2026 schedule Thursday night. While the Bulldogs knew who their nine SEC opponents would be for about a month, finally seeing what their schedule actually looks like is still a really exciting time.
Georgia has a lot of marquee matchups next season which shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, but there are three games in particular that will either make or break the Bulldogs season.
1. Alabama Crimson Tide
For the third year in a row Georgia will face Alabama in the regular season. Georgia will also have to travel to Tuscaloosa for the second time in three years which is never an easy place to play.
Georgia and Alabama are the best programs in the SEC, so no one has to be told how impactful this matchup is to the SEC Championship race. But for Georgia specifically, this is their most difficult game of the season next year, so if they can win this game they will have a great chance to make it back to Atlanta.
Georgia did prove the last two years that they can win the SEC even if they lose to Alabama in the regular season. But winning this game would make their lives a lot easier while also helping flip the narrative between these two programs that still heavily favors Alabama.
