3 important keys for the rest of Georgia football's season

Georgia football still has a lot of work to do if they want to win a national championship this season.

3. Dominate the trenches

Georgia's offensive and defensive line play has been much improved recenetly. Everyone knows how dominant they were against Texas last weekend, especially the defensive line who recorded seven sacks against the Longhorns as a team.

This isn't being mentioned as a key because Georgia has been bad in these areas, it's being mentioned as a key because it will be impossible to win a national championship without doing so.

It doesn't matter how great Georgia's secondary is playing, or how connected Beck and the receivers become, if Georgia can't convincingly win the line of scrimmage every game they are likely going to get beat at some point.

Getting some key players back from injury surely will help this key, but until then we should all hope and still expect the linemen to control the line of scrimmage each and every game. That will be the best way to ensure they don't get upset by any team worse than them, and put Georgia in a good position to beat the good teams remaining on their schedule as well.
