2. Control the time of possession
Notre Dame has one of the best offenses in the country. They may not be the flashiest or the most impressive, but they somehow just find a way to get in the end zone time and time again.
The Irish have the No. 2 scoring offense in the country this season at 38.8 points per game. Sure Notre Dame maybe hasn't played as difficult of a schedule as Georgia, but averaging that many points after 13 games is extremely impressive.
So it goes without saying that Georgia's defense is going to have to play one of their best games of the season if the Bulldogs are going to win. But Georgia's offense will be able to help prevent Notre Dame from scoring a lot as well.
UGA's offense needs to focus on having a lot of long drives that eat up a lot of clock. Doing this obviously will keep Notre Dame's offense off the field for most of the game, meaning they won't be able to score as much. Georgia's defense also will be able to stay as fresh as possible as well. So winning the time of possession battle will be crucial for Georgia if they want to win this game.
