3 keys to victory for Georgia football vs. Mississippi State

It’s time for Georgia football to start looking like the team we know they can be.

2. Give their full attention to Mississippi State

Mississippi State is 1-4 so far this season. No I didn't get those numbers mixed up, that's just how bad of a season they are having.

Motivation and attention to detail are always a big concern whenever you play a team who on paper is this bad. Then adding in the fact that Georgia has a showdown against Texas looming next week and this is a prime opportunity for a letdown game.

So instead of playing down to their opponent or looking ahead to next week’s massive game, Georgia needs to focus on what’s in front of them. If Georgia gives Mississippi State their full attention then there's no way they lose this game. But if the Bulldogs start slow and don't respect their opponent then things could get dicey.

I’m sure Kirby Smart has been in his team’s ear about this, so hopefully the team listens so they can coast in the second half to a big victory.
