The Georgia Bulldogs are scheduled to face their toughest competition yet as they travel to Knoxville week three. It is important to note that as important as this game is, there are still plenty of other games that have substantial impact on the outlook of Georgia's season. Let's take a look at the three games during week three that will have the largest impact on Georgia's 2025 season.

Florida vs LSU

USF pulled off the biggest upset of the season so far when they took down the Florida Gators last week. Florida really struggled to move the ball down the field and it ended up costing them big time.

Now that they have the task of facing LSU in Death Valley, everyone will see how Florida will respond. They have the talent to be able to compete with teams like LSU, but only if they actually perform to their potential.

Georgia faces Florida in the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party later this season. If LSU continues on their current trend, they could be a future matchup in the SEC Championship or CFP for the Bulldogs. This game will say a lot about both teams, but even more so Florida. If Florida loses this one in embarrassing fashion, Billy Napier's job might be in danger before Georgia even plays Florida this season.

Arkansas vs Ole Miss

Arkansas head coach Sam Pittman is continuing to try and get back to the scucess the Razorbacks found in 2021 as the travel to Ole Miss this Saturday. Since the success they had in 2021, the Razorbacks have struggled to get back on track.

So far this season Arkansas has started 2-0 behind the play of star quarterback Taylen Green. As they travel to Ole Miss, they will be looking to prove themselves as a contender to one of their biggest rivals.

Georgia plays Ole Miss but is not slated to face Arkansas barring a potential offseason matchup. This will be Ole Miss's first true test of the season and will speak a lot about how they are as a team.

Vanderbilt vs South Carolina

Vanderbilt and South Carolina alike were two of the hottest, unsuspected teams in 2024. Though both missed out on the playoffs, they returned a lot of starters in 2025 and are looking to go even further than they did last year.

With the new format of the SEC, Georgia will not play either team in the regular season like they did when they were in the SEC East. However, both these teams have a realistic shot to make it to the playoffs or SEC Championship game. South Carolina is loaded with talent on both sides of the ball and is already ranked in the top 15. Vanderbilt is being led by veteran quarterback Diego Pavia and has yet to slow down. South Carolina is favored by many already to make the playoffs, however, this is their first SEC test and will tell Georgia fans if the hype is real or not.
