2. Nate Frazier’s emergence

If Georgia is going to win a National Championship this season they need to have a strong run game. A solid run game will only make life easier for Gunner Stockton and his receivers, so the more production Georgia’s running backs can give them the better.

Entering this season it was Nate Frazier who was the lead back for Georgia. He however had a slow start to the year as he had multiple games where he barely eclipsed 30 yards. The second half of the season however he has been a completely different back as he has rushed for at least 50 yards in six of Georgia’s last seven games. This includes 108 yards against Georgia Tech and a whopping 181 against Mississippi State.

Frazier has a lot of quality running backs behind him on the depth chart with Chauncey Bowens being the most notable. But he has been dealing with a couple injuries recently, so the main workload will fall on Frazier. So if Georgia is going to win a national title this year he is going to have to be at his best throughout the entire playoff.
