3. Georgia’s defense looking like typical Georgia defenses
One thing that was missing early this season was a dominant Georiga defense. That has become a staple of Kirby Smart’s best teams, and the fact that this was missing earlier this year was very concerning.
Georgia thankfully was able to rely on their offense to win them some games, but they were never going to reach their goals if their defense didn’t improve. Thankfully they have improved immensely to the point where they look like the typical Georgia defenses now.
Just this past weekend Georgia held Alabama to just seven points. Before that they didn’t allow Georgia Tech to score a touchdown all game. And three weeks ago the Bulldogs held Texas to just 10 points.
Georgia’s defense is clicking at the right time and they are more than capable of leading Georgia to a national title this season.
