2. Transfer Tyrin Lawrence showed exactly what we need to see

Guard Tyrin Lawrence is the one player I think I am most excited for this season. Lawrence is a transfer guard from Vanderbilt who is coming off an impressive year where he averaged 13.8 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.

The one thing we know Lawrence can do is score, but can he be a complete guard for Georgia this season?

By "complete guard" I mean someone who takes care of the ball, sets his teammates up and is a menace on defense. And that is exactly what he demonstrated against Charlotte.

Lawrence finished the game with five assists, three steals, and most importantly, zero turnovers. Lawrence no doubt is someone that Georgia is going to have to rely on this year to score a lot of points, but if he can be a complete guard then that is the difference between Georgia making the NIT again or making the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2015.
