3. Nate Frazier is the future

Freshman running back Nate Frazier has cemented himself as a future star out of the backfield for Georgia. Frazier was thrust into the limelight sooner than most expected with all of the injuries suffered this season by the UGA running backs, but he has not disappointed in this role.

Saturday against UMass was the latest example as he recorded 21 carries for 136 yards. He also added a reception for another 11 yards as well. But it was his three touchdowns that all came in the second half that were especially impressive.

It goes without saying that Georgia still needs more of their running backs back from injury. While Frazier has proven to be more than good enough to be the featured back, Georgia desperately needs more depth just in case something were to happen to Frazier. So hopefully Georgia is able to get some of their injured running backs healthy and back on the field before the upcoming Georgia Tech game.

But until that happens, Georgia fans do not have to worry as Frazier has shown he can get the job done this season. And that just makes the future that much more exciting because he has a minimum of two years left in college still.
