3 takeaways from Georgia's embarrassing loss to Ole Miss
2. Offensive line did not help Carson Beck
How about discussing another aspect of Georgia's offense that did not help Beck out at all?
Georgia's offensive line was, to put it lightly, not great. Whether it be in the run game or pass game, the offensive line did not have many snaps where they were able to even remotely get a good push against the Ole Miss defensive line. When that is the case, it's nearly impossible to play winning football.
Too many times Georgia's running backs were hit behind the line scrimmage when they got the ball. There were too many times where Beck had to scramble within a couple seconds of the ball being snapped. There were a lot of people complaining online about how the offense never took a deep shot down field, but how are they supposed to if the offensive line can't keep the pocket clean for more than three seconds?
Hopefully this was just a bad game for the line, because if they have similar struggles next week it could be another long night.
