3 takeaways from Georgia's embarrassing loss to Ole Miss
3. Georgia defense exposed for the second straight week
The Georgia defense had been a strength of this team for quite some time now. They were the biggest reason Georgia was able to knock off Texas a few weeks ago, but those good vibes have quickly come to an end.
Last week the UGA defense was exposed by Florida as they had no answer for the physical style of play from quarterback DJ Lagway. This week they were exposed in a completely different way by Jakson Dart who was able to consistently beat Georgia with his arm and legs.
And that's not even mentioning how the Rebels' backup QB came in for the second series of the game and led Ole Miss on the easiest 75-yard touchdown drive in history.
As mentioned, Georgia had been able to rely on their defense to keep them in games in recent weeks, but that was not the case against Ole Miss. So when you combine that with subpar play from the offense, you get a blowout loss.
