2. Carson Beck deserves a shoutout as well

Georgia quarterback Carson Beck deserves a lot of praise after this game as well. Sure the offense played horribly for the entire first half, but a lot of that wasn't really Beck's fault. His receivers once again had issues catching the ball, and many of those drops forced Georgia to punt the ball away when a catch would have moved the chains.

But Beck didn't let this bother him. He kept going, continued to trust his receivers, and with a little boost from his defense got the offense going just in time.

Beck finished the game completing 28 of 43 passes for 297 yards. And most importantly, he had his third game in a row without a turnover.

This Georgia team has a long ways to go before they are legit threats to win a national championship, but tonight's game showed that Beck is playing at a high enough level to do so.
