No. 5 Notre Dame Fighting Irish

The third team that is the biggest threat to Georgia is Notre Dame. The Irish have an interesting resume because they have a solid win at Texas A&M in their season opener, but lost to Northern Illinois at home the very next week.

SInce then the Irish have rattled off nine straight wins in dominant fashion. Those nine wins however have not been against very good competition. The best wins were against undefeated Navy and Army, which aren't that great of wins if we are being honest.

As mentioned however, Notre Dame is destroying every team they play. So even if their opponents are not great, they do deserve some credit for beating teams by a large margin when they should.

It is worth metnioning that Notre Dame isn't as threatening as Ohio State or Oregon. Those two teams could potentially be favored against Georgia, but after that no other team likely would be. But out of the rest of the CFP teams, Notre Dame likely presents the biggest challenge for Georgia and would be a fun matchup for the Bulldogs.
