4. Other Contenders
There are a few other teams who definitely could prevent Georgia from winning the SEC this season as well, but they are less likely to compared to the three teams already mentioned. Potentially the most likely out of this group is Tennessee, who Georgia will play in week three. This will be UGA's first SEC game of the season and their first road game as well, so the Vols could be a sneaky team that could finally beat Georgia this season.
South Carolina is a program on the rise that has cracked the top 10 of the AP Poll this week. Georgia doesn't have the Gamecocks on their schedule this season, so they would have to meet in the SEC Championship game for South Carolina to ruin their season.
Then there is Alabama, who just had an embarrassing loss to Florida State to kick off their season. Alabama is just 5-5 in their last 10 games, and everything seems to be going wrong for them right now. But Alabama is a team that always finds a way to beat Georgia, so it's impossible to count them out when the Tide come to Athens week five.
The good news for Georgia is that they are the No. 4 team in the country and are capable of beating any team they line up against. So even though all of these teams can ruin Georgia's chances of repeating as SEC Champions, the Bulldogs have the ability to keep the SEC crown in Athens at the end of this season.
