The final College Football Playoff rankings will be released in less than two weeks, and that means Georgia (hopefully) will soon learn what their path looks like to win Kirby Smart's third National Championship.
There are a lot of teams out there who are capable of winning a National Championship this season, but Georgia has proven over the course of this year that they belong in that conversation. But at the same time they should be a little nervous to play a few teams who could end their season and prevent them from winning a championship this year.
1. Ohio State Buckeyes
Ohio State has been the No. 1 team in the country for most of this season. And not only are they undefeated, but they have been completely dominant along the way.
Sure they maybe haven't faced a schedule like Georgia or anyone else in the SEC has, but they have handled their business and have not even come close to losing a game this season. So until the Buckeyes lose a game, they are a serious threat to beat Georgia and prevent them from winning a National Championship.
Ohio State also is the only team that has proven they can win a national title in the new 12-team CFP format, so as the defending champions they deserve all the respect in the world until Georgia (or anyone else) beats them.
