During 2025 offseason the Georgia Bulldogs made it a priority to revamp their receiver room. In 2024, the team heavily struggled with dropped passes but they made up for it greatly with the additions of Zachariah Branch and Noah Thomas.
In 2026, Georgia will be losing more talented receivers. With so much talent leaving as soon as it appears, the Transfer Portal could be another vital option for Georgia to revamp their receiver room.
1. Eugene Wilson III, Florida
If you ask Georgia fans and Trevor Etienne, it is always fun to steal a talented player from Florida. In 2026, Georgia could have the ability to do it again.
Eugene Wilson is a player that could find himself fitting perfectly into the hole potentially left by Branch. Though he does not have quite the same explosiveness off the touch as Branch does, Wilson could be a perfect slot option for Georgia to utilize. Wilson is a former track athlete that can give Georgia that extra juice in the open field that will inevitably be left behind by Branch if he leaves for the NFL.
2. DeAndre Moore Jr., Texas
DeAndre Moore possesses qualities that Kirby Smart loves in wide receivers. Moore has had a history of being able to play both offense and defense with toughness and physicality. Georgia could always benefit from a player that can play both sides of the ball and do it at a high level.
Even though Moore would likely not get much playing time on defense, his skillset and ability to read defenses could be used well in several offensive packages. If that happens, Moore could potentially find himself as the next Dillon Bell at Georgia.
3. Terrell Anderson, NC State
At one point during his recruiting process in 2023, Terrell Anderson had Georgia as one of his top schools before eventually going with NC State. Anderson has a receiver build that could step into the shoes of Colbie Young with ease. He has a 6'2" frame with an innate ability to secure catches and put himself in front of defenders.
Young made himself more reliable in the beginning of the regular season not as much as a big target, but more as a reliable pass catcher when in contested coverage. Anderson would be able to provide that piece for Stockton in 2026.
In high school, Anderson was also an excellent kick returner, meaning Coach Smart could utilize the receiver in kickoff packages as well.
