Georgia football is scheduled to begin fall camp on Thursday in what is one of the most important fall camps in recent history. There are countless questions that need to be answered and many players who have a lot to prove, and that is especially the case on the offensive side of the ball.

So here are the four biggest storylines surrounding Georgia's offense to follow closely throughout the month of August during fall camp.

Gunner Stockton vs Ryan Puglisi

The biggest story that Georgia fans will be following this fall is the battle for the starting quarterback job. This competition is between veteran Gunner Stockton and redshirt freshman Ryan Puglisi with most UGA fans and analysts believing Stockton is the favorite to end up winning the job.

However, until Kirby Smart names a starter this is an open competition.

Smart has not shared when he plans to announce Georgia's starter, so there is a chance fans won't find out until Aug. 30 against Marshall. Regardless, this quarterback competition will go a long way in deciding how the season pans out for Georgia this fall.

Who will step up at running back alongside Nate Frazier?

Georgia's starting running back this fall is Nate Frazier and he will receive a vast majority of the carries this season. Based on his stellar performance last year as a true freshman, no one is doubting his ability entering this season. But who will be the second guy alongside Frazier that will help lessen his load?

Illinois transfer Josh McCray is the most likely candidate, but Roderick Robinson is looking healthy and ready for an increased role as well. Cash Jones will also get his fair share of snaps while freshman Bo Walker has been as impressive as any true freshman so far in Athens.

Frazier is extremely talented, but he can't do it on his own. So who will step up this fall to become the clear No. 2 running back in Athens?

Has the wide receiver room improved?

Georgia's wide receiver room was abysmal last year. Can Georgia put their issues dropping the ball behind them and move forward this fall and into the season?

Georgia thankfully has a lot of new faces at wide receiver, including Zachariah Branch and Noah Thomas, who are ready to help turn the tides, but it's going to take a lot of work to earn the confidence of the fanbase and rest of the team back after the struggles from the 2024 season.

Can Georgia's run game get back to UGA's standard?

Georgia's run game was as bad as it has ever been under Smart during the 2024 season. A lot of that had to do with the countless injuries Georgia's offensive line suffered, but UGA seemed to lose that edge up front that carried them in years prior.

So can the Bulldogs get back to asserting their dominance at the line of scrimmage where football games are typically won and lost? If they can, then both Georgia's running game and passing game should see an improvement this season.
