Monday has turned into quite the day for Georgia football and players making decisions on their future. Most of those decisions have come in the form of Georgia's players declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft. Two players made that announcement earlier, and now three of their teammates have followd suit as well.

Wide receiver Arian Smith

The first of four Bulldogs to declare for the NFL Draft on Monday afternoon is wide receiver Arian Smith.

Smith is fresh off his fifth and final season with the Bulldogs and just put together his best season with UGA by far. He finished the season with 48 receptions for 817 yards and four touchdowns, which are much better stats than his first four seasons combined.

Who knows how NFL organizations will view Smith since he only has one year with a lot of production, but some team will take a chance on him later in the draft and they won’t end up regretting it.

Defensive lineman Mykel Williams

Next up to declare for the draft is defensive lineman Mykel Williams.

Williams just finished up his third season with Georgia, so he could have returned for another season. But after the year he just had, it makes sense that he would want to head to the NFL.

Williams finished the season with just 21 tackles, but that included a whopping five sacks and as well as two forced fumbles. NFL teams will love seeing that many sacks, so Williams likely will have a lot of teams interested in him.

Defensive back Malaki Starks

The third Bulldog to declare for the draft is defensive back Malaki Starks.

Similar to Williams, Starks could have returned to Georgia for another season as well. However, it would be almost impossible for him to have a better season than he just did, so going pro is definitely the right choice.

Starks finished this season with 77 tackles, three passes defended and one interception. This was good enough for him to earn First Team All-American honors from a few publications as well as Second Team honors from the Associated Press.

Starks will be a first round draft pick this summer, and whichever team uses that pick on him will be end up being very pleased.

Linebacker Smael Mondon

Last but not least is linebacker Smael Mondon.

Mondon just completed his fourth season at Georgia, which arguably was the best of his career. He finished the season with 57 tackles, three sacks and three passes defended.

Mondon racked up this production in just 10 games, so he will surely have a lot of NFL teams very interested in him.
