2. Georgia's suffocating defense
Georgia's defense once again has one of the top units in the country, but they unfortunately did not show that last game out against Tennessee. The Volunteers gashed the UGA defense for 496 total yards with a whopping 371 of them coming through the air. That is not what a typical Georgia defense looks like.
So the Bulldogs will want to show that they are much better than that. They will want to show that they can dominate in the biggest games of the season like they routinely did a year ago. So having a big performance against Alabama will show the college football world that they are in fact a legit unit.
So look for Georgia's pass rush to get to the quarterback often and for UGA's defensive backs to respond with a big game after their struggles against Tennessee. Georgia's defense needs to make a statement, and that is exactly what they will do on Saturday.
