Georgia football suffered a similar outcome Saturday night as they once again lost to Alabama 24-21. This loss was about as disappointing as it gets because Georgia played well enough to win this game. Unfortunately there were a few plays that stand out that ultimately played a huge role in Alabama pulling off this upset.
While there are a lot of plays Georgia fans could point out, these four immediately come to mind. Had even just one of these plays gone Georgia's way, there is a good chance they would have won this game.
1. Talyn Taylor drop
One of the first plays that comes to mind is Talyn Taylor's drop late in the third quarter. The Bulldogs trailed by three points after their defense strung together a couple stops, and Gunner Stockton saw a streaking Taylor wide open down the field. Stockton put his pass on the money, but Taylor dropped it.

Had he caught the ball he would have walked into the end zone and given Georgia a 28-24 lead.
Alabama did have a touchdown drop of their own in the first quarter, but they were able to recover from their drop and still score later in the drive. Georgia however was unable to do that themselves and were left wondering what would have happened if Taylor caught that ball.
