3. Ellis Robinson penalty

Alabama was attempting to ice the game and faced a key 3rd and one late in the game. A first down would all but end Georgia's chances of coming back, but UGA's defense did what they did all second half and stopped Alabama short of the first down marker.

Ellis Robinson however decided to make one of the dumbest plays of the game and jump on top of the pile about five seconds late which he was flagged. Instead of having a big decision to make on 4th and one, Alabama was gifted a free first down by Robinson.

There is a chance Alabama would have gone for it on that fourth down and picked up the first down anyways, but Georgia's defense was playing extremely well and would have had a chance to get another stop. But this poor decision from Robinson stole UGA that chance and cost Georgia the game.
