4. Nate Frazier fumble

Nate Frazier is Georgia's best running back, but he had a crucial fumble in the first half. Alabama was up by seven points and Georgia's defense just got their first stop of the game. UGA had the ball deep in their own territory but had a chance to go the length of the field to tie the game.

Unfortunately Frazier fumbled on the second play of the drive which handed the ball back to the Crimson Tide in the red zone.

Georgia's defense deserves some credit here because they did hold Alabama to a field goal. But these three points turned out to be very crucial because Alabama only won by three.

It's hard to say what would have happened if Frazier didn't fumble the ball. Does Georgia go on to score that drive? Or maybe they ultimately end up punting the ball away. Either way Georgia wouldn't have given up those three points which likely means that controversial fourth down call already discussed never happens because Smart would have elected to kick the field to take the three point lead instead.
