2. Beat all of our rivals

The second reason why this season wasn't a complete failure was because Georgia beat all three of their rivals. Georgia took down Auburn and Florida earlier in the season in dominant fashion, and it really doesn't get much better than dominating your biggest rivals.

But the final rivalry of the season was by far the best of the year after Georgia's come from behind victory against Georgia Tech in eight overtimes. This was potentially the best game in this rivalry's hisstory, and for Georgia to be the team that will be remembered as the winner is a really big deal.

Sure Georgia has bigger goals every season, and unfortunately they will not accomplish the most important goal they have this year, but beating UGA's three rivals is a goal that matters every season. No one wants to go all offseason hearing from any one of these three fanbases about how they beat Georgia, and thankfully that will not be the case this offseason.

So while Georgia's season did end in disappointment, winning these three rivalry games is something everyone should be proud of.
