Georgia football is fresh off one of their biggest recruiting events this year as Kirby Smart and his staff just hosted their second Junior Day of 2025 in Athens this past weekend. This event went extremely well by all accounts, but unfortunately Georgia has not earned a commitment from anyone who was visiting yet.
However, there are other ways for Georgia fans to know if a recruiting event went well, and that's if the major recruiting sites are naming the Bulldogs as the favorites for any of the recruits that visited. And that is exactly what happened as On3 named Georgia as the current leader for four major recruits who were on campus this past weekend.
1. 4-star LB Kenneth Goodwin
The first player who Georgia is leading for on On3 is four-star linebacker Kenneth Goodwin. According to On3, Goodwin is the No. 241 overall player in the country. He also is the No. 20 linebacker in his class and the No. 26 player from his home state of California.
According to a report from Rivals, Goodwin's visit to Georgia this past weekend went extremely well. So much so that he said that Georgia is "at the top, for sure" when asked where Georgia stands in his recruitment.
This quote likely is the reason why On3 has named Georgia as the leader in Goodwin's recruitment as they currently give the Bulldogs a 32.6 percent chance to win this battle.
