Georgia football already had one official visit recruiting weekend back in mid-May when they brought nine elite recruits to campus. But now that the calendar is about to turn to June, Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs will host massive recruiting events every weekend for the rest of the month.

This weekend Georgia is bringing in close to 20 recruits on an official visit. Georgia fans will recognize the names of many of the recruits visiting this weekend as UGA has pursued many of them for quite some time now, but there are some new names that Georgia fans will need to learn.

And one of those new targets is Chris Booker, who is currently committed to Alabama but has decided at the last second to come to Athens this weekend for an official visit.

4-star IOL Chris Booker set to visit Georgia this weekend

Booker is a four-star offensive lineman who is the No. 306 overall player in the country, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He also is the No. 23 lineman in the country and the No. 36 overall player from his home state of Georgia.

Booker committed to SEC rival Alabama back in February, but it appears that commitment is not 100 percent set in stone as he will visit Georgia this weekend. According to 247Sports, Booker also has upcoming visits to USF and Florida as well, which only adds to how shaky his commitment to Alabama is right now.

It's unclear how much of a chance Georgia has at flipping Booker, but the fact that he is coming to Athens means there is at least a small chance he becomes a Bulldog. And there really is no better recruitment to win then an in-state four-star recruit that is committed to one of Georgia's biggest competitors in the SEC.
