Georgia football went on one of the greatest recruiting runs in the history of the Kirby Smart era this summer as the Bulldogs propelled themselves all the way up to the No. 1 class in the country. One of the commitments that helped get Georgia there was four-star offensive lineman Graham Houston.

Houston committed to Georgia on May 1, and since then UGA fans haven't heard much from him. That typically is a good sign because it means they are not looking to flip their commitment and move on from Georgia, and a new update on Thursday shows that Houston in fact has officially shut his recruitment down.

Houston didn't show much interest in many other schools even before he committed to Georgia. In fact, Ole Miss was the only other program he took an official visit to this past summer. That visit took place on May 30 which is one week before he officially visited Georgia on June 6, so it's clear that after these visits he felt confident that UGA was the right place for him.

However, it now sounds like Houston didn't officially shut his recruitment down even after his visit to Georgia in June. The above update makes it seem like Houston was still hearing pitches from other programs throughout the entire summer, but thankfully he no longer appears to be listening to other schools anymore.

Houston is the second highest ranked offensive line commit in Georgia's 2026 recruiting class, so it's clear how big of a piece he is to Georgia's class. He has a chance to be a very special player once he arrives in Athens, and thankfully Georgia fans no longer have to wonder if he could be a potential flip candidate or not.
