Every recruiting cycle there are a few players that Georgia attempts to flip from other schools. Sometimes it seems like Georgia has a great chance to flip those players, other times not so much.

Georgia once again has found a new flip target in four-star wide receiver Ah'Mari Stevens who is currently committed to Miami. He has been committed to the Hurricanes for quite some time, but he is leaving the door wide open for Georgia to go after him.

4-star Miami WR commit may be stringing Georgia along

Stevens said it plain and simple. He believs Georgia is anyone's dream school and that he is very excited to be recruited by him. One would assume that this would mean Georgia has a good chance to win him over, but that might not actually be the case.

Stevens final remark in the above quote says that he wants to "enjoy the process" with Georgia. That may make it seem like he is super interested in Georgia, but at the same time he isn't over the top about his excitement either. In reality it seems like he is open to listening to Georgia, but knows that it is going to take a lot to sway him away from Miami.

Speaking of Miami, Stevens has been committed to the Hurricanes since January of 2025. Flipping a recruit that's been committed for over a year is no small task, but Georgia has done it once already this cycle. Five-star running back Kemon Spell was committed to Penn State for over a year before he left the Nittany Lions and flipped to Georgia, but the Bulldogs got a little help because Penn State fired their head coach last year.

However, this proves that anything is possible and that will always be the case as long as Kirby Smart is the head coach at Georgia.
