Everyone loves a good ole fashioned recruiting flip. Georgia football and Kirby Smart have been on the wrong end of recruiting flips multiple times, and it's those losses that always sting the most. But flipping a recruit in Georgia's favor are potentially the most fun recruitments to win.

And that is what might be happening with an elite corner currently committed to an SEC program.

4-star corner Peyton Dyer

Peyton Dyer is a four-star corner from Duluth, GA. According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Dyer is the No. 327 overall player in the country. He also is the No. 27 corner in the 2026 class and the No. 39 player from Georgia.

Dyer is currently committed to South Carolina, a program he committed to back in November, but that commitment does not appear to be official. Dyer visited Georgia the first weekend of February during Georgia's second Junior Day, and it sounds like that visit went extremely well.

“I had a great time at Georgia. I met with coach (Kirby) Smart, coach Donte (Williams) and we talked about a lot of things," Dyer said via ugawire.usatoday.com. "We watched some film and they are one of my top schools. I will be taking an official visit there. With Georgia, it is the energy. The coaches are great, we have had some great talks and I look forward to getting back up there.”

Dyer very directly states that he is looking forward to visiting Georgia again, which is a big deal considering he is one of UGA's biggest flip targets. And what a recruitment this would be to win since Dyer is an in-state recruit and currently committed to a program in South Carolina who is fresh off one of their best seasons in quite some time.

So stay tuned because if Dyer does schedule another visit to Georgia, then there will be a great chance UGA ends up flipping him.
