3. Zachariah Branch made up for Colbie Young’s absence
The most impactful transfer for Georgia this season is an easy choice. Wide receiver Zachariah Branch made the move to Athens this offseason from USC, and Georgia fans should be eternally grateful that he did.
Branch flexed his mucles once again on Saturday as he hauled in 10 recpetions for an impressive 112 yards. This performance would be noteworthy on its own, but the fact it came in Georgia's first game without Colbie Young is extremely significant.
Young had been the top receiver for Georgia so far this season until he suffered a major injury against Ole Miss two weeks ago. Georgia wasn't sure who would pick up the slack while Young is gone, but on Saturday it was Branch who stepped up and had the best game of his Georgia career.
