4. Gunner Stockton restores confidence in Georgia’s offense
There was not a lot of confidence in Georgia's offense entering the SEC Championship game. Not only was it unclear how they would play without Bobo at center, but their offense overall was pitiful agianst Georgia Tech last week. That included Gunner Stockton who threw for less than 100 yards and had his third game in a row with an interception against the Yellow Jackets.
Saturday night's SEC Championship game however restored the confidence Georgia fans had for their offense, especially Stockton. He finished the game completing 20 of 26 passes for 156 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions. He also added 39 yards on the ground as well.
Georgia's offense overall played extremely well as well as they were efficient both on the ground and threw the air and outgained Alabama by nearly 100 yards.
Sometimes making a run in the playoff depends on what teams Georgia is matched up with, but this year it may not matter because Georgia's offense is clicking at the right time.
