5. Georgia should be the favorite to win a national title
There are only a few teams across the country who look capable of winning a National Championship this season. Indiana as the undefeated Big Ten Champion is in that category along with Ohio State whose only loss is to the Hoosiers. Even Texas Tech is a team that could make a run in the playoff as well.
Georgia undoubtedly is in that category as well, but they actually should be the favorite to win it all.
The only team that has an argument to be the favorite over Georgia is Indiana who finished their perfect 13-0 season by beating Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship game. They however were not able to do it convincingly as they only won 13-10 thanks to a missed chip shot field goal by the Buckeyes towards the end of regulation.
Georgia however dominated a really good Alabama team, so even though Indiana deserves to be one of he favorites it is the Bulldogs who should be considered the No. 1 favorite to win it all.
