Bounce back 2nd half defense
Even though losing isn't good, it is important to highlight one positive from this game.
Georgia's defense had one of the worst first half performances of all time. They let Alabama march straight down the field on their first two possessions, eat up a ton of clock, and put 14 points on the board. Along the way they converted on their first eight third down attempts which is unheard of.
The Bulldogs needed to make some adjustments during halftime, and thankfully they did as they held Alabama to zero second half points. It unfortunately wasn't enough to win, but their play in the second half did give Georgia a chance to win.
UGA's defense still needs to improve on a lot if they are going to win the SEC or make a run in the College Football Playoff, but what they showed in the second half was encouraging at the very least.
