4. Lawson Luckie picked a great time to have the game of his career
Outside of Stockton, the best performance Saturday night came from tight end Lawson Luckie. Luckie came to Georgia with a lot of expectations and unfortunately he had not fully lived up to them yet. That however changed agaisnt Ole Miss as he had the game of his career.
Luckie finished the night with five receptions for 43 yards and a whopping three touchdowns. This is the first time any Georgia pass catcher has recorded three touchdowns in a game since the late 2000s, so this performance from Luckie was nothing short of historic.
Going forward no one should expect Luckie to score three touchdowns in any one game, but it is nice to know that he has that potential. But everyone should expect Luckie to be a big part of Georgia's offense for the rest of this season which is a relief because up to this point UGA had been struggling to get any of their tight ends going.
