3. LSU may not be as much of a challenge as everyone thought
LSU quickly became Georgia’s biggest competition after their week one win at Clemson, but Clemson’s downward spiral since then should make Georgia fans wonder how good LSU actually is.
Since beating Clemson, LSU hasn’t looked totally convincing. Sure they just beat SE Lousiana 56-10 this weekend, but they did struggle against Louisiana Tech earlier during week two On top of that, they only beat a bad Florida team 20-10 after forcing five interceptions in that game as well.
There’s no denying that LSU isn’t a very strong team, but should they be the SEC favorite like some suggest? Likely not.
The SEC Championship game is the only way Georgia can play LSU this season, so UGA will learn a lot more about the Tigers before a potential matchup occurs.
