Georgia football's annual G-Day is finally here. The Bulldogs final regular season practice will once again be a scrimmage in front of a rowdy Sanford Stadium, which takes place Saturday, April 12.

This day always brings a lot of excitement to the fanbase, and that is still the case this year even if fans at home are unable to watch. But for those that are making the trip to Athens on Saturday, which players should fans be paying the most attention to?

While every player is important, here are five players with a lot on the line that deserve the attention of every fan.

1. QB Gunner Stockton

Most Georgia fans assume that Gunner Stockton will be the starting quarterback this fall, but that is not set in stone yet. All reports point to Stockton having a very strong spring, but the quarterback competition is not over until Kirby Smart says it is, and that might not happen until Georgia's first regular season game this fall.

Smart likely will not name a starter after G-Day on Saturday, but a great performance from Stockton could essentially cement his place as the starting quarterback for the regular season.

2. WR Zachariah Branch

Georgia's offense at times last season was missing a big play player, but they now have that out wide in transfer wide receiver Zachariah Branch.

Branch very well could be the most electric player in all of college football, but so far Georgia fans have only been able to read about that. So Saturday marks the first chance for Branch to show everyone that he is that player, so at least one big play from Branch would be awesome to see during G-Day.

3. QB Ryan Puglisi

The other half of the QB competition is Ryan Puglisi, and it will be equally important to pay close attention to him as well.

The same sentiment that exists for Stockton also exists for Puglisi, just in the sense that he needs to perform well to keep this competition with Stockton from ending early. Whether people think Puglisi has a chance to win the job or not is one thing, but if he wants to keep this competition going all summer long and keep his chances alive then he has to perform extremely well at G-Day.

4. RB Nate Frazier

Georgia's offense was unable to rely on the run game enough last season. Part of that was due to all the injuries suffered in the running back room, but some of that was just poor overall play on offense.

However, the keys to the backfield have been officially handed to sophomore Nate Frazier, and he appears more than ready to take over as the full time lead running back. But how will he do now that these lofty expectations are on him? A good performance at G-Day would most certainly go a long way in helping him build confidence in himself and the offense in their running game overall.

5. DL Elijah Griffin

There will always be a few true freshman that make a significant impact on the field, and one of the prime candidates to accomplish that this year is defensive lineman Elijah Griffin.

Griffin was not only the Bulldogs' top recruit in the 2025 class, but he was the No. 1 defensive recruit in the country as well. And so far he has more than lived up to the hype throughout spring ball.

But how will he perform in front of his first sold out crowd at Sanford Stadium? Will he be able to live up to the hype with everyone watching? Georgia fans will find out very soon.
