3. 5-star TE Kaiden Prothro
The next extremely important recruit for Georgia in their pursuit of signing the No. 1 class is five-star tight end Kaiden Prothro. Barring something crazy, this is the final five-star recruit Georgia appears to be aggressively pursuing and finding some success with in the 2026 class.
Speaking of success, out of the three five-star recruits mentioned Prothro is the one that seems most likely to commit to Georgia. The competition for Prothro is fierce as Texas and Florida are still actively involved in this recruitment, but just like the other five-stars, Georgia is the favorite to land Prothro.
The one concern some Georgia fans had with Prothro however is that he may no longer be interested in Georgia after the Bulldogs earned a commitment from their second four-star tight end in the 2026 class in Brayden Fogle on July 4. That fear however has been confirmed to not be impacting Prothro, and if UGA does in fact lead for him this commitment won't change that.
Prothro is scheduled to announce his commitment on July 12, so in just a few short days Georgia could be adding an elite target for Curtis to throw to.
