Five-star Georgia football commit Jared Curtis is doing what he does best. Friday night was the second game of his senior season and his team entered their rivalry matchup as 20-point underdogs, but that didn't stop Curtis from leading his team to a 42-41 overtime victory.

Jared Curtis leads impressive come from behind victory

Curtis and his team got off to a brutal start as they fell behind by multiple scores early in the game. But Curtis wasn't bothered by their slow start as he slowly but surely chipped away at that deficit while making impressive plays like the highlight below.

Curtis's team still trailed for most of the game, but it was this touchdown pass from Curtis with four seconds to play that forced overtime.

Curtis's team made quick work in overtime as his team opted to go for a two-point conversion to win the game. The play call for the win was simple, give Curtis the ball and let him win the game. And that is exactly what he did.

Curtis's performance is one Georgia fans can count on

Curtis finished the night completing 19 of 27 passes for 192 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran the ball 15 times for 142 yards and three more touchdowns.

This performance from Curtis would be impressive no matter who their opponent was, but the fact that he pulled this off as a 20-point underdog is as good as it gets.

Curtis will arrive at Georgia next spring with a chance to make an immediate impact on the field. Gunner Stockton more than likely will return in hopes of being Georgia's starter for the second season in a row, but Curtis has other plans. If Curtis can play at this level for the rest of the season and throughout next offseason, he very easily could beat out Stockton for the starting job next year.

Regardless, Curtis has the potential to be the best quarterback in Georgia history, and the anticipation for his arrival will grow even more as he continues to light up the football field this fall.
