The hype surrounding Jayden Wade is already growing in Athens. Sure he is only in the 2028 recruiting class, but he is a five-star quarterback and the No. 1 overall player in the country who has already committed to Georgia.
Wade has not wavered from his commitment since committing to Georgia a couple months ago. While that could change in the future, all signs point to him being the future of Georgia’s QB room once he arrives in Athens in 2028.
While that is exciting on its own, the things his current high school teammates have been saying about him make his future arrival even more exciting.

Georgia’s excitement for Jayden Wade’s arrival reaches an all time high
Sure Wade’s teammates are biased, but they did not hold back when they were asked about him. They could’ve given the generic statements every player makes about their quarterback, but they took it to another level by saying he’s everything anyone would want in a quarterback.
Georgia thankfully recognized early on that he has all the qualities they are looking for in a QB, but so have many other teams around the country as well. So even though he is committed to Georgia, Wade is too special of a player for other teams to stop pursuing.
That fact is a bit concerning for Georgia, and unfortunately there is nothing they can really do to stop these schools from pursuing Wade. But Wade continues to send Georgia signals that he is not even thinking about backing off his commitment.
The obvious hope is that this will be the case throughout the next two years of his recruitment, but for now Georgia should be thrilled because one of the best quarterbacks high school football has ever seen is 100 percent locked in with UGA.
