Georgia football just accomplished something for the first time since 2019 in their 2025 recruiting class. It had been that long since Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs signed a five-star wide receiver, but Georgia added Talyn Taylor who is one of the players Georgia fans are most excited about in this class.
But what's better than one five-star wide receiver? Two.

5-star WR Cederian Morgan
Cederian Morgan is a five-star wide receiver from Alexander City, AL. According to On3's reankings, he is the No. 18 overall player in the country. Morgan also is the No. 3 receiver in the 2026 class and the No. 2 player from his home state of Alabama.
Morgan announced who his top six schools are on Friday, and Georgia made the cut according to Hayes Fawcett with On3. Also included in Morgan's top six are Alabama, Clemson, Colorado, Auburn and Florida.
Georgia unfortunately has a lot of ground to make up in this recruitment. On3 has Auburn as the heavy favorite with about an 87 percent chance to win this recruitment. On the other hand, three crystal ball predictions have been made on 247Sports in this recruitment with the Tigers owning two of them and Alabama having one.
Smart and his staff will clearly have their work cut out for them if they are going to convince Morgan to leave his home state. Good news is that they most likely will get that chance as Morgan more than likely will take official visits to all of his finalists. So far he only has an official visit scheduled with Clemson, so Georgia will have to work to get that scheduled with Morgan as well.
Even though this recruitment seems difficult to win right now, it's impossible to not imagine how electric it would be to add yet another five-star receiver to Georgia's roster. So hopefully Smart can work his magic and bring yet another elite talent to Athens.
