2. Alabama Crimson Tide
After naming the reigning National Champions it's impossible to not name the team that Georgia can't ever seem to beat. Alabama not only has already beat Georgia this season, but they have unfortunately won nine of the last 10 meetings against UGA.
The Crimson Tide are arguably the hottest team in the country after their season opening loss to Florida State. They not only have their win over Georgia, but they also took down Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Missouri as well. Alabama probably has the best collection of wins in the country, but their loss to the Seminoles prevented them from earning the No. 1 seed in the CFP rankings. The committee however put them one spot ahead of Georgia at No. 5.
The one thing in Georgia's benefit if they were to play Alabama again is that it is extremely difficult to beat the same team twice. Georgia's one win over the Tide in their last 10 tries came after they had already lost to Alabama earlier in the season, so that by itself is a good reason for UGA to be confident.
The bad news for Georgia is that they likely will not be able to avoid playing Alabama again if they are going to win a championship this season. They obviously could face the Tide at some point in the playoff, but if Georgia makes the SEC Championship game Alabama is their most likely opponent.
So out of all the teams on this list, Alabama for better or worse is the most likely team that Georgia will play at some point in the postseason.
