Georgia football is in a heated battle with No. 10 Texas and nearly everything is going there way so far. The Bulldogs defense is flying around the field and holding Texas in check while Gunner Stockton and the Georgia offense have played one of their better halves of the season as well.
Stockton playing at a high level shouldn't be surprising to anyone who has been watching Georgia all season. He has played extremely well all year, but he has taken his game to another level over the past month to the point where he has entered Heisman Trophy conversations. A lot of things will have to go his way if he is going to win the Heisman Trophy, but the fact that he is even in the conversation is a big deal.
Aaron Murray understands how big of an opportunity Stockton has in front of him, and he challenged him to go out and have his Heisman moment against Texas.
Gunner Stockton has a chance to have his Heisman moment tonight

Aaron Murray challenges Gunner Stockton as he competes for the Heisman Trophy
One thing any Heisman Trophy candidate needs is a "Heisman moment." A Heisman moment is play that is so spectacular that every college football fan will remember for as long as football is played. One example of a Heisman moment is Johnny Manziel running around like a mad man and turning broken plays into touchdowns.
Stockton has not had a true Heisman moment yet this season, but some could argue his five touchdown performance against Ole Miss earlier this year counts. But Stockton needs one big play that brings everyone's jaws to the ground that can count as his true Heisman moment.
Stages don't get much bigger than Georgia's matchup against Texas, so now is the perfect time for Stockton to have his big moment. He might not care about winning the Heisman, but if Stockton wants a legit shot to win the award he needs to have a big moment against the Longhorns.
