Aaron Murray is a Georgia football legend. However, he doesn't let his love for UGA get in the way of his job now as a college football analyst. He deserves a lot of respect for being able to put his Georgia bias to the side and do his job in a day and age where countless "analysts" like Dave Portnoy can't do the same.
However, Georgia fans will not be happy after reading his recent comments about their upcoming showdown with Tennessee this weekend.
“As an ESPN employee, put my Georgia hat away and just call the game for what it is, I think Tennessee is in a better position to go out there and have success,” said Murray.

Aaron Murray is not a believer in Georgia
Murray made it very clear that he is not a believer in Georgia this weekend. Sure he didn't say he thinks UGA will lose this game, but it's clear that is what he thinks will happen.
Murray is not alone in his belief in Tennessee because ESPN gives the slight edge to the Vols in this matchup as well. On top of that, the spread that favored Georgia by a touchdown in this game is shrinking fast. The Bulldogs were favored by seven points when the spread was released on Sunday, but that quickly moved to 3.5 points in less than 24 hours.
There are clearly a lot of people who are siding with Tennessee this weekend, and they are all entitled to their opinions, but it is a little strange to see a former Georgia superstar so against UGA even if he is just doing his job.
Regardless, Kirby Smart will be able to add this quote to the growing list of bulletin board material Georgia has for this game as they look to take down Tennessee for the ninth season in a row.
