I think I speak for the entire fanbase when I say that I'm sick of Alabama. I'm tired of losing to them and I still haven't gotten over the loss from two weeks ago.

So how about some revenge?

While it is still possible for Georgia to play Alabama again on the field, it isn’t all that likely. So the next best option is to beat the Tide in recruiting. Georgia and Alabama’s 2025 recruiting classes are both in the top five nationally, so either program could finish above the other at this point. But it appears Kirby Smart and his staff are looking to flip a talented Alabama running back commit this weekend.

Four-star running back Anthony Rogers has announced that he will be in Athens this weekend. He will be taking an official visit when the Bulldogs face Mississippi State on Saturday.

Rogers is the No. 118 overall player according to the 247Sports composite rankings who is also the No. 9 player from his home state of Alabama. He has been committed to Alabama since June of 2023, so that tells you how locked in he may be with the Tide. But why would he visit Georgia if he was 100 percent sold on playing for Alabama?

I wouldn’t get your hopes up too high here since he has been committed to Alabama for so long. However, he obviously has a little interest in Georgia or else he wouldn't be wasting his time on a visit.

So hopefully Smart and his staff can put their best foot forward this weekend. A big win on the field wouldn't hurt either, and thankfully that's very likely against a struggling Mississippi State team.

It will be interesting to see what Rogers has to say after this visit. If Georgia has a chance we’ll find out in whatever quotes he shares after the visit. On the flip side, we’ll also learn if he no longer has any interest. But one thing is certain, winning this recruiting battle would feel amazing after the loss from two weeks ago.
