Georgia and Alabama are just a few days away from taking the field in the biggest game of the week in the SEC. The Bulldogs are looking to keep their perfect record in tact while Alabama is attempting to show their week one loss was a fluke and that they are still one of the top teams in the country.

The good news for Georgia heading into this game is that injuries haven’t impacted their season all that much. That however is not the case for Alabama who has been missing two of their star players all season.

But the latest update coming out of Alabama is that both Jam Miller and Tim Keenan will make their season debuts this weekend against Georgia.

2 key starters for Alabama will make season debuts vs. Georgia

Miller might be the most important player the Crimson Tide are getting back because he is their No. 1 running back on their roster. Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer was asked very bluntly if he thinks Miller will play this weekend, and he left no doubt that his star running back will be back on the field.

"I do," DeBoer said via ugawire.usatoday.com. "I do expect him to go. He practiced yesterday. Been building up (his volume at practice) last week, so I expect him to play."

Keenan’s return however is just as important for Alabama’s defense as he was named a preseason Second Team All-American defensive lineman this season.

Will these additions be enough for Alabama to take down Georgia? That remains to be seen, but Vegas clearly believes both players will have a huge impact because the spread for this game has been shifting in Alabama’s favor recently.

Georgia however now has the opportunity to go up against a healthy Alabama team which would make a potential victory over the Crimson Tide that much sweeter.
