Every program in the country is in the middle of their fall camp with the beginning of the 2025 college football season right around the corner. While every program has their own things they are worried about, one thing every team is concerned about, including Georgia, is injuries.
Georgia thankfully hasn't suffered any significant injuries so far during their fall camp, but the same can't be said for Alabama who is one of their biggest rivals in the SEC.

Alabama starting RB Jam Miller could miss Georgia game
According to On3's Brett McMurphy, Alabama running back Jam Miller has recently suffered a collarbone injury during the Tide's fall camp. Miller projects to be Alabama's starting running back this season, so this is a significant loss for Alabama.
An official timeline for Miller's return has not be shared yet, but the Crimson Tide are hopeful that he will be back before their week five showdown against Georgia in Athens.
This news has a massive impact on Georgia because the Tide will be one of Georgia's biggest competitors this season in the SEC. In fact, Alabama is really the only other team who most college football experts agree is a true contender in the SEC along with Georgia and Texas. So a key injury hitting the Alabama program does increase Georgia's chances at repeating as SEC Champions.
As mentioned above, there is hope that Miller will return in time to play against Georgia on Sep. 27. That however is not a guarantee, so there is a chance he could be sidelined when Alabama comes to Athens. But even if he does play, Miller having his first game of the season in an environment as wild as Georgia's Sanford Stadium is a very daunting task even for the best players in the country.
No one wants to see an injury occur to any team, and the hope is that Miller will return this season better than he was before his injury. But it is impossible to ignore how impactful this injury is for Georgia and the rest of the SEC this season.
